PTI9_7_2014_000161BTelecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad launched Disha mobile app which aims to spread digital literacy through self – learning modules. The app is free and is available on Google Play Store. A handbook having pictographic lessons prepared by Common Service Centres will also be released. The book has been designed to ensure that anyone with little or no digital literacy can also learn using this book. »Facebook is looking to tap the rising enthusiasm of the Indian online shoppers by launching a shopping festival named ‘Tied Together’ on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The plan involves setting up a website in association with media agency conglomerate GroupM between August 12 and August 29.
